Realizing that the child was in critical condition, Major Le Tung Lam and Phan Viet Truong used a special vehicle to take the child to the Binh Xuyen District Medical Center, Vinh Phuc, for emergency treatment.
The Traffic Police Department said that at 4:52 p.m. on February 2, Working Group Team 1, Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department, Traffic Police Department, was on duty to regulate traffic and prevent traffic congestion at the toll station at Km 6, Noi Bai-Lao Cai Expressway, when a car with license plate 30L-496.36 stopped.
A woman opened the door and got out of the car, looking very panicked. She said that on the way back to Hanoi, her child had a high fever and was having convulsions. If she was not taken to the emergency room in time, it would be very dangerous, while the road was crowded and congested.
Realizing that the child was in critical condition, the Working Group reported to the Team Leader (who was directly directing the work at Km 6).
Without a moment's hesitation, Team 1 Captain directed Major Le Tung Lam and Major Phan Viet Truong to use a special vehicle to take the child to Binh Xuyen District Medical Center, Vinh Phuc for emergency treatment.
At the medical center, the baby's mother, Truong Thi Thanh Thuy (born in 1996), said the baby's name was Nguyen Gia Han, just over 2 years old.
Ms. Thuy expressed her gratitude when, during the traffic jam, the Task Force used a special vehicle to take her child Han to the emergency room. Thanks to the Task Force, the child received timely emergency care and is now in stable condition./.
