Cherry blossoms blooming in Japan, the US and many other countries not only signal a new season, but also become cultural and tourist attractions that attract a large number of visitors.

Cherry blossom season is one of the most anticipated times of the year in many countries, especially those with temperate climates. Japan is known as the land of cherry blossoms with more than 200 different species of cherry blossoms, both natural and hybrid. Of these, Somei Yoshino (light pinkish white flowers) is the most popular. In Japan, cherry blossoms are a symbol of impermanence (mono no aware) - a short-lived, fragile beauty.
