8 alumni in 1 class of Ha Tinh University together achieved excellent provincial teacher title

The Provincial Contest for Excellent Preschool Teachers for the 2024-2025 school year was held from March 10 to March 28, 2025 with the participation of 204 outstanding teachers, representing nearly 6,000 teachers from preschools throughout Ha Tinh province.

Participating in the contest, each teacher goes through two parts: reporting on measures to improve the quality of child care and education and practicing organizing an educational activity.

After the competition, 178 best teachers were recognized as excellent preschool teachers at the provincial level. Of these, there were 9 first prizes, 45 second prizes, 59 third prizes and 65 consolation prizes.

The teachers are former students of class K1-GDMN, Ha Tinh University, who won prizes at the Provincial Competition for Excellent Preschool Teachers in the 2024-2025 school year.

Notably, out of the total 178 teachers who won prizes, 8 preschool teachers were former students in the same class. That was class K1 - Preschool Education (K1-GDMN), Ha Tinh University with 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 1 consolation prize.

First prize went to Ms. Phan Thi Nga (Pho Chau Town Kindergarten, Huong Son), Ms. Dang Thi Hong (Quang Loc Kindergarten, Can Loc); second prize went to Ms. Le Thi Kieu Anh (Thien Loc Kindergarten, Can Loc), Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung (Thach Xuan Kindergarten, Thach Ha); third prize went to Ms. Nguyen Thi Van (Nam Dien Kindergarten, Thach Ha), Ms. Vo Thi Hai (Tung Loc Kindergarten - Can Loc), Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga (Thuong Loc Kindergarten, Can Loc); encouragement prize went to Ms. Tran Thi Ngan (Cam Quang Kindergarten, Cam Xuyen).

Ms. Phan Thi Nga (Pho Chau Town Kindergarten, Huong Son), Secretary of the K1-GDMN Youth Union, Ha Tinh University shared: “At the provincial-level competition for excellent preschool teachers, I had the opportunity to meet and interact with many colleagues, including many who were former students of Ha Tinh University and more specifically, those in my old class.

When the results were announced, I and 7 of my classmates won prizes, and we were all very happy. It was a common achievement from the support of the school's board of directors, parents, students, my own efforts, and more importantly, the foundation gained from the years of training at Ha Tinh University."

From the basic knowledge acquired during university, each teacher constantly strives to improve her expertise and professionalism to care for and raise children.

Ms. Nga recalls that our K1-GDMN class was the first batch of preschool university students of the school, which was also the first year that Ha Tinh University was established on the basis of Ha Tinh Pedagogical College. The class had 47 members. As the first batch with many surprises, we were fortunate to receive the attentive attention of the teachers in the department and in the school. Not only did they encourage, inspire, and impart pedagogical skills and professional knowledge, the teachers also encouraged and created an environment for us to participate in extracurricular activities and associations. Thanks to that, each student after graduation is confident and has the necessary skills to gradually adapt.

Graduated in 2012, although each person is from a different school and locality, all members of the class are united and regularly contact each other to exchange and share experiences in teaching and care for each other in daily life.

Ms. Tran Thi Ngan - teacher of Cam Quang Kindergarten (Cam Xuyen), a former student of K1-GDMN shared: “46/47 students of the class all pursue a passion for teaching preschool children, which is a favorable factor for us to share experiences and skills in caring for and raising children. The basic knowledge in the university lecture hall is a foundation for us to have more motivation when entering the profession to actively innovate teaching methods and bring about the results we have today. Being honored as a provincial-level excellent teacher is a joy but also a great responsibility for each of us teachers to make more efforts in the journey of caring for, teaching and loving children”.

Not only did they achieve excellent results in the provincial competition for excellent preschool teachers in the 2024-2025 school year, but in recent years, former students of K1-GDMN have also had many innovative experiences recognized at the district and provincial levels; some teachers were recognized as outstanding young teachers at the provincial level, outstanding young teachers at the central level...

Ha Tinh University - a place to nurture future teachers.

As the mentor of the first batch of students, Ms. Dang Thi Yen - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Pedagogy (Ha Tinh University) shared: “During the years of welcoming the K1 batch of students, I was the Head of the Basic Subjects Department, Faculty of Preschool Primary Education, directly teaching many subjects for the students of this batch. Witnessing the efforts in studying and practicing of the students, the demonstration lessons they taught... it can be said that it was a batch of all-round students, I still remember it to this day.

Today, witnessing the achievements of the students, we - the teachers are extremely proud and find that the results are completely worthy of their constant efforts. We are confident that the achievements of these students are also a shining example, a motivation for the next generations to learn and follow. It is also a meaningful way to continue the tradition of the school and spread the reputation of Ha Tinh University far and wide."
