On the morning of March 1, in O Mon district, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) of O Mon district coordinated with Go Global Education Investment Joint Stock Company (GO Global) to organize a training conference for teachers to teach English on the basis of STEM subjects (STEM English). More than 120 staff, teachers and 30 first grade students of Trung Vuong Primary School attended.

Here, teachers were trained on the STEM English program; content, how to coordinate smoothly with GO Global teachers in STEM English classes; instructions on how to use and practice some functions of the Zoom platform in STEM English classes... On this occasion, teachers also practiced demo lessons, creating excitement for students to participate in learning.

The lesson content closely follows the 2018 Education Program of the Ministry of Education and Training. The lessons are organized in a combination of face-to-face and online formats, connecting teachers from the main teaching locations (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho...) to all registered classes nationwide. After O Mon district, the program continues to train teachers in Co Do district on March 2.

According to the plan, in March 2025, GO Global will coordinate with the education sector of O Mon and Co Do to organize the opening of the free STEM English program for students. STEM English is an English teaching program based on STEM subjects including Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics using the direct method combined with online and digital lecture technology application for primary school students.

This is a program created by Mr. Bach Ngoc Chien (former Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee) and piloted in phase 1 for all grade 1 and 3 students of Mu Cang Chai district (Yen Bai) from January 2022; and then applied in Nam Truc district (Nam Dinh) and Thai Thuy (Thai Binh), with nearly 10,000 students participating. Phase 2, there is a new version called STEM English. The program will be implemented from November 2024 in Lang Chanh district (Thanh Hoa), Dien Bien Dong (Dien Bien) and Sa Pa town (Lao Cai) with 56 schools, 226 classes and nearly 5,085 grade 1 students.

In the South, the program will start in March 2025 with 4 participating districts: Chau Thanh A, Phung Hiep (Hau Giang province); Co Do, O Mon (Can Tho city) with nearly 5,000 students.
