The August Revolution of 1945 was an unprecedented revolutionary turning point in the development path of the Vietnamese nation. From here, the Vietnamese people truly became masters of the country, masters of the destiny of the nation and people.

In particular, the August Revolution of 1945 brought the Vietnamese nation to a new position with new victories in economics, politics, society and culture. That revolution left behind many values and extremely valuable lessons for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. The young generation is the one who shouldered the important responsibility in moving the country forward.

The power of the people

It must be said that we are enjoying the fruits of the August Revolution. The greatest thing, in my opinion, is that the country is independent and free, bringing status to the Vietnamese people. The meaning and lesson of this revolution is very great, that is the people's heart. Because, all the people at that time were looking towards the independence and freedom of the nation. This is the power of the people's heart, the power of reason, the power of justice, so we were able to gain power.

Nowadays, it is even more necessary to promote national pride in every Vietnamese person. In my opinion, the greatest pride is solidarity. The second is pride because the nation has faith in history, faith in justice, faith in the victory of the revolution. We have faith in difficulties, one could say "a thousand pounds hanging by a thread". We can be proud that in any circumstance, the Vietnamese people remain indomitable, resilient, still have the will to be independent and self-reliant even in the most difficult times. We are proud of the process of the Vietnamese revolution.

Therefore, it is necessary to fully recognize the responsibility of today's generation in promoting the values and spirit of the August Revolution in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; the cause of innovation, promoting industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.

It is a lame comparison, but it is true that there has never been a more difficult period than the August Revolution of 1945. I think that the younger generation must naturally inherit the traditions of their ancestors. We must also understand that, in any case, any difficulty can be overcome.

As General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong once said, our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it does today. Those achievements are the crystallization of creativity, the result of a process of continuous, persistent efforts over many terms of our entire Party, people and army.

We must understand that this foundation is not just about high-rise buildings or roads, economic development... It is a comprehensive foundation, that is Vietnam's position in the international arena. We have international friends, have relationships with all countries, even large countries have equal relations. The international community believes that we are a country with a high growth rate. In my opinion, it is not only about economic development, but our country is also a reliable partner in the trend of globalization, opening up, integration and development. That is truly a great fortune, a foundation that is not easy to obtain.

Educating young people to love and be proud of their country's history

The responsibility of the youth is to inherit the achievements of the revolution, and at the same time be proud that our ancestors built and gave us a great foundation. You must continue to succeed the career of your fathers and brothers, and do better than the previous generation. How to make the country more and more beautiful, maintain independence, peace, democracy and prosperity, stand shoulder to shoulder with the world powers. This is Uncle Ho's dream and belief in the young generation.

Saying so shows the historical significance of the August Revolution for the education of today's young generation. It can be said that this revolution also represents culture. That culture is for people, that is, people are put above all. Even in the Declaration of Independence, it clearly states human rights, the right to pursue happiness. That is culture, especially that nothing is more precious than independence and freedom.

The lesson here is that no matter how difficult it is, we can overcome it. If we can overcome difficulties like the August Revolution, then nothing can stop the progress, will and aspirations of the Vietnamese people. That is, to build a peaceful country, wanting to be friends with everyone, wanting not only our country to develop but also the international community to develop together, to live together in an atmosphere of peace and prosperity.

In particular, another lesson is that we always choose the right, must stand on the side of the right, to live, to contribute. This also demonstrates the spirit that nothing is more precious than independence and freedom. This is a lesson learned in Vietnam's blood. Now, for the country to develop, each citizen must contribute their best.

The new responsibility of young people is to move the country forward, not backward. Only when people are independent and self-reliant can they be happy and prosperous, so young people must study, practice and cultivate themselves. The older generation must be an example for the younger generation to follow, not “outsource” all responsibility to the younger generation.

That is, young people must strive and make constant efforts, but the older generation must be an example, everyone must be united and united. The greatest lesson we must remember is unity, unity, great unity, success, success, great success. That is also the spirit of the August Revolution.

To do so, we need to educate young people so that they do not forget history, love and take pride in the history of our country. I think that education should not be passive, but must create an atmosphere and a creative space. The spirit of the August Revolution permeates all people.

Because this revolution not only liberated the Vietnamese people but also contributed to world peace and stability, brought independence and freedom, brought enthusiasm and a new atmosphere. Here, education, as I understand it, is through practical activities, through each person, training themselves to contribute to the common good of the country as well as the region and the world.
