Ms. My Hanh, living in District 3, shared that at around 9:45 a.m. the same day, she heard the sound of a plane so she ran out to observe. At that time, in the sky, there were many elite and beautiful military planes flying.
"My whole neighborhood came out to watch, everyone was excited," said Ms. Hanh.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (District 1) said that early in the morning, he heard information about military aircraft practicing so he took the opportunity to observe.
"When I saw groups of fighter planes flying across the sky in beautiful formations, I was really excited. Everyone around looked up and used their phones to record this rare moment," Mr. Hung shared.
Every 3-5 minutes a group of planes flies across the sky over the Reunification Hall area.
It is known that the groups of pilots will fly in formation starting from Dong Nai, then fly across the Reunification Hall. Each group will fly 3-5 minutes apart, during the flight, the groups will perform complex acrobatic movements and fly apart.
This is the first time the squadron has trained in the center of Ho Chi Minh City after nearly a month of training in the Bien Hoa area.
According to the parade plan on the occasion of April 30, the Air Defense - Air Force has mobilized dozens of aircraft such as SU30-MK2, Mi helicopters of various types, YAK-130 for practice. This is the first time a large number of fighter planes have performed in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City.
The 50th anniversary of the country's reunification will take place on the morning of April 30 on Le Duan Street, in front of the Reunification Hall.
