TPO - Recently, the Hanoi People's Committee approved the location plan for two roads with a total length of more than 1.2km and 4 lanes in Long Bien district, connecting the district center with the newly developed urban area adjacent to the Red River.
Accordingly, the planned route location plan was prepared by the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning and appraised by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture. |
The routes passing through Thuong Thanh, Gia Thuy, Ngoc Lam wards, Long Bien district, Hanoi city, are determined to be in accordance with the N10 urban zoning plan, scale 1/2000 approved by the City People's Committee. |
Specifically, route 1 has its starting point at the intersection of Ngo Gia Kham - Ngoc Lam; The end point intersects with the routes in the Urban Functional Area on both sides of the route from Ngoc Thuy embankment to Thuong Thanh New Urban Area; the total length of the route is about 1,020m. |
Ngo Gia Kham Street is adjacent to Nguyen Van Cu Street at one end and Ngoc Lam Street at the other end. There are currently 2 mixed lanes. |
This road has Gia Lam bus station so traffic is often overloaded. |
Route 2 starts at the intersection with Route 1. The end point intersects with the roads in the Technical Infrastructure Construction Land of planning blocks A4/NO2, A4/NO5, A4/HH1, A4/HH5 serving the auction of land use rights in Ngoc Thuy ward; the total length of the route is about 290m. |
The two routes have a cross-section width of 30m, of which the roadway is 15m wide (4 lanes); the sidewalks on both sides are 2x7.5m wide. |
The Ngo Gia Kham Street expansion project will connect wards in Long Bien district with a relatively complete traffic system. |
The cleared sections and the initial shape of the route have gradually emerged. |
The project will intersect the railway near Gia Lam station. |
Once completed, the project will connect the routes passing through Thuong Thanh, Gia Thuy, Ngoc Lam wards, Long Bien district. |
