2. How to make chip chip candy

Step 1: Prepare ingredients

Add 50ml of passion fruit juice to the pot, then add about 25ml of filtered water, 100g of sugar, stir well and wait another 5 minutes for the sugar to dissolve.

Next, take a cup and add 125ml of filtered water and 25g of gelatin and stir well to let the gelatin expand.

Step 2 : Boil the ingredients

Place the pot of passion fruit juice and sugar on the stove and cook over low heat. Stir constantly while cooking.

When you see the passion fruit juice bubbling, add the soaked gelatin and stir well to dissolve the mixture completely, avoid sticking to the bottom of the pot and burning. When the mixture boils again, turn off the stove.

Step 3 : Pour into mold

Pour the mixture into the mold to create beautiful, attractive shapes for your baby.

Step 4 : Finish

3. Notes when making chip chip candy

Although making chip chip candy is quite simple, you need to keep in mind the following things during the process:

The water ratio must be 5 times the gelatin powder ratio (for example: using 50g of gelatin requires 250ml of water) and the correct dosage of water to soak the gelatin must be followed according to the standard formula.

Do not boil the juice mixture. This will destroy the gelatin's ability to solidify.

Gelatin can be replaced with agar powder.

In addition to passion fruit juice, you can use other fruit juices or syrups to flavor the candy such as: Strawberry (red), butterfly pea flower (purple), mint (green), coffee (dark brown)...

When using syrup, you can reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe to suit your taste.

White sugar can be replaced with malt sugar of the same weight.

After the chip chip candy has solidified, put it in a jar with a lid or a sealed bag. It can be stored for 4 days at room temperature and about 1 month when kept in the refrigerator.
