The four strong research groups just announced by TDTU include: Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (Faculty of Pharmacy), Intelligent Computing in Civil Engineering (Faculty of Civil Engineering), Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Mining (Faculty of Information Technology), Economics , Business and Management (Faculty of Business Administration).
Up to now, TDTU has had a total of 9 strong research groups - the core force in the strategy of developing the University into a research university towards 2030. This is a specific step in response to Resolution 57 of the Politburo on developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; at the same time, it is consistent with the Strategy for developing Vietnam's higher education to 2030 and the priority programs for developing science and technology of Ho Chi Minh City, making Ho Chi Minh City one of the centers for training high-quality human resources at international standards.

The development of strong research groups is also encouraged by the Ministry of Science and Technology , in order to form excellent research cores, enhance competitiveness in implementing national-level topics, strengthen international cooperation and contribute to training high-quality human resources.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of TDTU emphasized: "Strong research groups are the foundation for the University to improve its scientific capacity, expand international cooperation, enhance innovation and gradually integrate into the global research ecosystem".

Chairman of the Council of Professors of Pharmacy, representatives of strong research groups, expressed thanks and accepted their assignments at the event.




Through research activities, TDTU continues to affirm its pioneering role in research - innovation - digital transformation, while creating a solid scientific foundation for the process of integration and sustainable development.
