Attending the workshop were Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi - Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh, Vice Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, and nearly 180 delegates who are doctors, scientists and experts in the field of health sciences.

Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu, President of Cuu Long University, said that there were many topics discussed at the conference such as training in health sciences in the context of current international integration; hospital management and high-quality medical human resources; disease management in the new situation; linkage in training, research, production and transfer of pharmaceutical science and technology between Vietnam and India...
The conference received 42 papers from experts and scientists in the field of health sciences.

At the conference, there were 15 presentations in person and online; of which, there were 6 presentations by foreign experts (India, Canada, Taiwan, Thailand), 9 presentations by domestic experts from a number of universities with health training, health departments of provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region.
According to the organizers, the conference also aims to connect cooperation and knowledge exchange between domestic and foreign scientists and related organizations, and to open up knowledge related to health sciences. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of human resource training for the health sector, meeting the requirements of society.
