More than 160,000 candidates try to register for high school graduation exam on the first day

The Ministry of Education and Training said that as of 5:00 p.m. on the same day, there were a total of 160,435 candidates registered for the exam.

Of these, 97.39% are grade 12 candidates taking the exam under the 2018 generaleducation program; 2.61% are independent candidates.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, it is expected that about 1.1 million candidates will register to take the high school graduation exam this year.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, from April 15 to 18, 12th grade candidates for the 2024-2025 school year will try to register for the high school graduation exam online on the Ministry's exam management system. After this time, the trial exam registration information will be deleted to prepare for the official registration period.

From April 21 to 5:00 p.m. on April 28, 12th graders and independent students officially register to take the high school graduation exam.

The Ministry of Education and Training notes that candidates must take full responsibility for the information declared in the high school graduation exam registration form.

Candidates who are students in grade 12 must fill out the online registration information according to the account provided on the exam management software system. Candidates must keep their information confidential and change their password as soon as it is provided. After changing the password, they must keep it. In case they forget their account and password, candidates can contact us to get it reissued.

Candidates' photos on the system must have a minimum resolution of 400 x 600 pixels, be taken in ID style and no more than 6 months before the application submission date.

During the process of registering for exams, preliminary registration, and university and college admissions, candidates must use a unified type of identification document: ID card/citizen identification card/personal identification/passport number.

During the registration period, candidates wishing to apply for university and college admission must declare on the software complete and correct information with evidence to enjoy priority in university admission according to regulations and instructions.
