Hoan Kiem District walking streets open on National Day September 2

During this year's National Day holiday, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District (Hanoi) decided to extend the operating hours of walking spaces in the district from August 30, 2024 (Friday) to September 3, 2024 (Tuesday), to serve the entertainment needs of people and tourists.

The People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District has just announced the extension of the operating hours of pedestrian spaces in Hoan Kiem District during the National Day holiday of September 2, 2024. Accordingly, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), to serve the people and tourists, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District has decided to extend the operating hours of pedestrian spaces in the district from August 30 (Friday) to September 3, 2024 (Tuesday).

In particular, the walking space in Hoan Kiem Lake area and surrounding areas operates from 7:00 p.m. on August 30 (Friday) to 12:00 a.m. on September 3, 2024 (Tuesday). The walking streets in the Old Quarter operate from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. every day from August 30 to September 3, 2024 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday). The District People's Committee requests departments, offices, affiliated units, Dong Xuan Joint Stock Company and the People's Committees of wards to proactively coordinate and effectively implement assigned tasks, ensuring urban security and order, traffic safety and order, environmental sanitation, urban aesthetics; ensuring regulations on fire prevention and fighting, safety for people and tourists.
