According to statistics from the Ministry of Information and Communications, in 2023, the revenue of the Vietnamese gaming industry will be 600 million USD and aims to reach 1 billion USD after 5 years. Accordingly, to contribute to the development of this industry, BUV representative shared that based on the industry's prospects, current human resource needs in Vietnam and the world, along with the support of the Government, BUV's academic expansion is a step forward to the future.

In particular, the Game Graphics bachelor program focuses on how to produce and build quality graphics, based on the needs of the game industry. This is also one of 6 new training programs that BUV will introduce from the 2024 - 2025 school year.

The Bachelor of Game Design and Programming program provides learners with an in-depth understanding of professional game development tools, creating prototypes, gaming experiences; essential skills to seize opportunities to develop a career profile.

These two programs apply experiential and project-based learning methods to optimize the understanding of the game development process. As a result, students can build creative game projects through assignments and tests, and at the same time, seize the opportunity to participate in game development projects under the evaluation and guidance of lecturers and industry experts.

British University Vietnam also offers a modern learning and practice environment with a realistic Game Studio space. The facilities here meet many different training requirements. In particular, the computer lab, game design and programming room (CGDP Room) is equipped with high-configuration computers with 27-inch screens, adjustable in height and rotation according to usage needs. The motion capture studio has a green screen system (Chroma Key) and specialized cameras, virtual reality glasses (VR)...

In addition, the school creates opportunities for students to gain practical experience through workshops and competitions. For example, in the 44-hour game creation challenge "Game Jam", students have the opportunity to be creative and practice thinking and teamwork skills. Contest products are consulted and evaluated directly by experts from prestigious corporations and game studios around the world.
