(Dan Tri) - The spirit of lifelong learning is not only a core value in education, but also the key to improving leadership capacity and innovating teaching methods, contributing to promoting the sustainable development of the country's education.

Educational strategy to meet the globalization era

In recent years, Vietnam's education system has witnessed many strong changes in approach, especially the focus on developing a lifelong learning spirit. This is not only a trend, but has become an important method to build a sustainable education system, improve the quality of human resources, and meet the increasing human resource requirements of the era of globalization and digital transformation.

Recognizing the importance of this activity, the Government has launched the movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promoting lifelong learning in the period of 2023-2030". A learning society is promoted with flexible forms of learning, from formal learning to learning through online platforms, with training programs suitable for all needs and conditions.

Lifelong learning linked to practical impact

In that context, British University Vietnam (BUV) has pioneered the spirit of lifelong learning and the educational philosophy of Purpose-based impact learning (PBIL) since its inception.

The PBIL philosophy encourages students and practitioners to not only learn within the framework of lectures, but also practice and apply knowledge in real life. Through this, learners are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in the global working environment, creating a positive impact on society.
