With the desire to bring delicious, nutritious meals to the less fortunate, Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Quynh Hoa decided to carry out the series Hoa Yeu Thuong that she has cherished for a long time.

Giving is forever, hopefully with the hearts of Hoa and the guest artists can bring delicious meals, joy and warmth to the less fortunate.

Cook for the poor

The series Love Flowers records the moments in the kitchen of Miss Bui Quynh Hoa and artists cooking delicious meals for the less fortunate.

This volunteer work is not new. However, the difference is that Bui Quynh Hoa goes to the market and prepares the ingredients herself to cook the dishes, showing her heart for the less fortunate.

Miss Bui Quynh Hoa told Tuoi Tre Online : "In my free time, I often go to the market or supermarket to buy food to cook.

Hoa doesn't have much experience, only learning cooking from her mother, friends and relatives. Making the series Hoa Yeu Thuong , Hoa has the opportunity to show off her culinary talent.

For example, when buying meat, look at the color to see if the meat is rare and the meat fibers are firm; fresh fish has red gills, clear eyes, and pink meat; vegetables are green and the leaves are not drooping...".

For Bui Quynh Hoa, traditional markets have a variety of food, and she can buy anything she needs. For food that she needs in large quantities, she orders it from familiar vendors so they can prepare it in advance, and when she goes to the market, she just needs to stop by and pick it up and pay.

The entire cost of making the series Hoa Yeu Thuong was from Bui Quynh Hoa's personal money. That is a part of her business profits that she dedicates to charity.

"This has always been Hoa's wish, hoping that the business will be favorable, so that she can carry out more meaningful projects in the future" - Bui Quynh Hoa shared.

Many artists accompany Bui Quynh Hoa

The guests participating in the series Hoa Yeu Thuong are artists who love cooking and another thing in common is that they love doing charity work.

The guest in the first episode of the series Love Flowers is runner-up Mai Ngo.

She and Bui Quynh Hoa made hundreds of char siu sandwiches, then went all over the streets, directly giving them to the needy and people in difficult circumstances on the streets.

"This is not the first time Hoa has done this job, but the first time she went with runner-up Mai Ngo, Hoa felt happy, walking and chatting animatedly.

Especially, seeing people enjoy the delicious bread and give compliments is the motivation for Hoa to continue doing this job" - Bui Quynh Hoa confided.

In addition to giving meals to the disadvantaged and homeless on the streets, Bui Quynh Hoa also scheduled to visit shelters and open houses in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces to cook for less fortunate children in the near future.

She confided: "Hoa loves children very much. Through this project, Hoa hopes to visit, interact and give gifts to less fortunate children even more."
