Economic development
In 2024, small-scale industry and services will still play a key economic role in Hong Lac commune. The value of small-scale industry production will reach 56.7 billion VND, up 12.65%. The value of trade, services and other revenues will reach 606.4 billion VND, up 5.5%.
Hong Lac has expanded 16 village and hamlet roads with a length of more than 4.7 km with a total amount of more than 5.1 billion VND contributed by the people. The commune has been building many projects such as centralized cemetery infrastructure and commune police headquarters.
Education in Hong Lac commune is given special attention. The commune is building a 3-storey, 6-room classroom building and a toilet, a multi-purpose building for the Secondary School, and the Kindergarten in Area B of Hai Ho village. The rate of 5-year-old children attending class is 100% and the secondary school graduation rate is 99.38%.
In 2024, the average income will reach 82.6 million VND/person, an increase of 4.4 million VND/person compared to 2023, the poverty rate will decrease to 0.85%. In 2024, Hong Lac commune strives to meet the model new rural standards.
Security, order and national defense work were carried out seriously, completing 100% of the recruitment targets for citizens to join the army. The militia and self-defense force was trained with good results, contributing to the good response to fire prevention, fire fighting and search and rescue work in the locality.

In 2025, Hong Lac commune aims for economic growth of 7.46%, with an average income of 83.8 million VND/person/year.
