Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism works with the Center for Green Development and Investment Cooperation

On the afternoon of April 15, 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province had a working session with the Center for Green Development and Investment Cooperation. The working session revolved around strategic cooperation in the fields of culture, sports and tourism associated with the goal of green and sustainable development.

At the meeting, representatives of the Green Development Center presented many creative ideas and proposed to accompany Dak Lak province in implementing key activities. Notably, the plan to organize a large-scale, modern Countdown event to welcome the New Year 2026 , imbued with the cultural identity of the Central Highlands, contributing to promoting the image of Dak Lak to domestic and international tourists.

In addition, the Center proposed to coordinate the organization of the Conference on promoting culture and stimulating tourism, aiming to attract investment resources in areas such as eco-tourism, cultural industry, creative industry and green agriculture. The contents presented by enterprises aim to form a sustainable development ecosystem, contributing to promoting economic restructuring towards green growth.

In particular, in the trend of globalization of environment and climate, the enterprise emphasizes the importance of developing "Net Zero" tourism - reducing carbon emissions in the entire tourism value chain, from operating accommodation facilities, transportation to organizing cultural events.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Hong Tien - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province thanked the Center for Green Development and Investment Cooperation for proposing unique ideas, opening a new direction in promoting Dak Lak province through comprehensive art programs and other investment promotion activities. Based on the proposed content of the Center and the comments of the Department's leaders, the two sides will continue to research to complete the Project as a basis for requesting approval from the Provincial People's Committee.

The meeting took place in an open atmosphere, achieved many positive results, promising to open up valuable cooperation opportunities between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province and the Center for Green Development and Investment Cooperation. This event once again affirmed the Department's determination in building a local culture - tourism in the direction of green, responsibility and deep integration with the sustainable development trend of the region and the world./.
