On the evening of November 13, U.17 Indonesia faced U.17 Panama in the second match of the group stage of the 2023 U.17 World Cup. The host team, Indonesia, was still considered weaker than its opponent, but played a resounding match. In which, young talent Arkhan Kaka continued to play the role of hero for the team of the archipelago.

Because they lost 0-2 to U.17 Morocco in the first match, U.17 Panama pushed up their squad to play attacking football from the start with the goal of winning 3 points. However, U.17 Panama's intention to take the lead encountered many difficulties against the tight defense of the home team. It was not until the end of the first half that U.17 Panama scored the first goal, after a mistake by the Indonesian goalkeeper. Oldemar Castillo was the player who opened the score, helping U.17 Panama gain the advantage before entering the half-time break.

Arkhan Kaka scored 2 goals in 2 matches for U.17 Indonesia

Not letting the visitors rejoice for long, U.17 Indonesia scored an equalizer right at the beginning of the second half. After a precise cross from his teammate, midfielder Kaka chose a smart position and finished the ball into the net of U.17 Panama, bringing the match back to the starting line. In the first match, Kaka was also the one who scored to help the team from the archipelago hold the strong U.17 Ecuador to a 1-1 draw.

During the remaining time of the match, both teams created good scoring opportunities, but could not capitalize on them. In the end, U.17 Indonesia drew 1-1 with U.17 Panama. 2 points and 2 goals are an impressive achievement for Indonesia in a World Cup, when the team from the archipelago was not highly rated and even though they participated as the host.
