On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, today February 2, a working delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) led by Party Central Committee member and Minister of MPI Nguyen Chi Dung visited and presented gifts to policy households and the poor and carried out a number of gratitude activities in Quang Tri province. On this occasion, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung visited and presented 100 gifts, each worth 700,000 VND including gifts and cash to 70 policy households and poor households in the western communes of Gio Linh district and 30 households in Dong Luong ward, Dong Ha city. He presented 100 million VND to the Fund for the Poor of Quang Tri province to help share difficulties and help the poor in Quang Tri province celebrate Tet and welcome spring.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung kindly sent his regards, encouragement and New Year wishes to the families of beneficiaries and poor households. He expressed his hope that these gifts would help them to reduce their difficulties and have a warm, joyful and happy New Year.
Propose that Quang Tri province continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, unite, make more efforts together to overcome all difficulties, together build the province to develop more and more, worthy of the sacrifices of previous generations. Continue to care for Tet for the people, especially for poor households, policy families, lonely elderly households, and those without support.

During the working trip, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung and the delegation visited, laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Special Historical Site, the National Road 9 Martyrs' Cemetery and the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery. Before the souls of the heroes and martyrs, the delegation expressed their gratitude, respect and gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation and vowed to continue the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
