Ministry of Public Security launches information page on Zalo platform

Pursuant to Decree No. 42/2022/ND-CP dated June 24, 2022 of the Government promulgating regulations on the provision of information and online public services of state agencies in the network environment; in order to meet the need to access official information on security and order on digital platforms, serve the people better and better, effectively serve the task of ensuring security and order and building the People's Public Security force, the Ministry of Public Security deploys the operation of the Ministry of Public Security Information Page on the Zalo platform with the official account - Zalo Official Account, named "Ministry of Public Security".

The Ministry of Public Security's Zalo OA page is managed by the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, using the representative image of the Public Security emblem on a yellow bronze drum background; with the copyright mark "MPS.GOV.VN" in the right corner, below the Public Security emblem. People accessing the Ministry of Public Security's Zalo OA will see a "yellow tick" next to the name "Ministry of Public Security".

Along with the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal; the Ministry of Public Security's Information Page on Facebook platform; the Ministry of Public Security's Information Page on Zalo platform, OA is the official information channel of the Public Security force on the network environment, with the function of informing and propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the Ministry of Public Security's regulations on ensuring security and order and building the People's Public Security force; the situation and results of ensuring security and order; the work of preventing and combating crimes and violations of the law; warning about the tricks of all types of criminals and other violations of the law; propagating, fighting, and refuting false, hostile, and malicious information; building the reputation and good image of the People's Public Security force; enhancing the ability to interact, helping the public access the Ministry of Public Security's official information sources faster.

Recently, many state agencies have actively used Zalo OA as an official information channel, opening up a space to connect with the masses, both maintaining the information and propaganda functions and helping people interact, reflect, contribute ideas, and make recommendations easily and effectively. As a "national" messaging platform with nearly 78 million regular monthly users, Zalo supports ministries, departments, and branches to get closer to people of all classes and ages, improving the effectiveness of comprehensive digital transformation activities for the entire population.
