On May 24 and 25, Regiment 762, the Provincial Military Command organized a "3-explosion" inspection for new soldiers. Attending and directing the inspection were Colonel Hoang Duy Chien, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4; also attending were Colonel Vu Van Tung, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command and comrades in the inspection delegation of Military Region 4, Heads of 4 departments of the Provincial Military Command.

In 2023, Battalion 40, Regiment 762, Provincial Military Command received 120 new soldiers. After 3 months of training with the spirit of "Overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain, practicing enthusiastically", 100% of soldiers completed the military training programs, political education, logistics, and technical training plans.
New soldiers perform the long-distance grenade throwing and hitting target.
The test content includes: AK submachine gun shooting lesson 1, hidden and visible targets during the day; explosives lesson 1 and throwing grenades at long distances and hitting targets. Thanks to good preparation of human resources, training ground, materials, technical equipment as well as organizing for new soldiers to practice shooting in segments and in combination to get used to the sound of explosions, build up their courage and strong mentality, thanks to that, 100% of new soldiers have a good mentality, are calm, confident, and determined to achieve high results. During the test, the unit always ensures absolute safety for people and weapons.
Colonel Hoang Duy Chien, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4 and Colonel Vu Van Tung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command presented flowers for good shooting to the new soldiers.
The inspection aims to assess the actual level of organization and training methods of the cadres; the level and ability to use weapons and equipment in the establishment; the postures and movements of new soldiers as a basis for drawing experience and improving the quality of training in the coming time.
