Provincial People's Council reviews coordination regulations between Provincial People's Council - People's Committee

Attending the conference were Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Council - Mai Van Nhieu; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Do Thanh Hung and representatives of 3 agencies of districts, Kien Tuong town and Tan An city.

According to the assessment of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council , in 2024, the working coordination relationship between the three agencies of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front will increasingly deepen, with close and harmonious connections. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic, security and defense tasks; building the Party, government, Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations of the province to develop and be comprehensively strong.

In particular, monitoring activities are carried out in a variety of forms, with more emphasis on quality, focused on issues that voters are interested in and concerned about; at the same time, proactively organizing surveys to grasp the situation, resolve opinions and recommendations on a number of urgent issues arising in the implementation of the general tasks of local socio-economic development.

At the same time, from the coordination between the three agencies, the monitoring, urging and supervision by the competent agencies of the implementation of resolutions and conclusions after supervision, questioning, opinions and recommendations of voters are carried out more systematically; the consideration and giving of opinions on issues arising between the two sessions are carried out promptly, closely and within the authority, creating more favorable conditions for the Provincial People's Committee to direct socio-economic development.

Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Council - Mai Van Nhieu affirmed: "The implementation of the Regulation on coordination of work of the three agencies in 2024 has significantly contributed to improving the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of operations of each agency; promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security and law enforcement in the locality, especially contributing to completing and exceeding 21/21 main targets according to the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council in 2024".

In addition to the achieved results, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council also frankly acknowledged the limitations that need to be promptly overcome, such as the coordination to thoroughly resolve voters' opinions and recommendations; the unification of contents prepared for submission at the People's Council meetings or the criticism of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations on the draft Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council.

At the conference, delegates focused on exchanging and discussing solutions to improve coordination efficiency in 2025, especially coordination in collecting public opinions on amending the 2013 Constitution, on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units; citizen reception, handling complaints and denunciations; fighting against corruption, waste, negativity, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Do Thanh Hung suggested that the three Standing agencies of the Provincial People's Council - People's Committee - Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee need to be proactive, responsive, positive and determined in coordination to successfully complete the tasks.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Long An province commended 3 collectives and 6 individuals with good achievements in advising on the implementation of the Coordination Regulations in 2024 and awarded 2 certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 1 collective and 1 individual with achievements in winning the 3rd Dien Hong Award - 2025./.
