Bringing Vietnamese goods to mountainous and island areas
Accordingly, Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan jointly organize 3 Vietnamese Goods Markets for mountainous areas and 1 Vietnamese Goods Market for islands, "referred to as the Markets".

The program's objective is to continue implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and implementing Directive No. 28/CT-TTg dated October 26, 2021 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the implementation of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the new situation.
In addition, trade promotion links create conditions for businesses to grasp the needs, tastes, customers, and consumers in order to serve the improvement, innovation of technology, improve product quality, improve designs suitable for the market in mountainous and island areas, and develop new products.
According to the plan, there will be 4 markets, including 3 mountain markets and 1 island market. Each market will have 20 - 30 booths of 10 - 15 businesses providing goods...
The first session will take place in Phuoc Dai commune, Bac Ai district, Ninh Thuan province from August 28 to August 30. The second session will take place from September 4 to September 6 in Lam Son commune, Ninh Son district, Ninh Thuan province. The third session will take place from September 10 to September 12 at the Culture - Information - Sports Center of Phu Quy district, Binh Thuan province. The fourth session will take place from September 27 to September 29, 2024 in Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province.

Goods serving people's lives
On the morning of August 17, speaking with Dan Viet, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy - Deputy Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion of Binh Thuan province said that the goods serving the consumption needs of people in mountainous and island areas are expected to be food, foodstuffs, sugar, cooking oil, fish sauce, soft drinks; children's and adult fashion clothes; shoes; cosmetics; telecommunications services; blankets, pillows, mattresses... produced in Vietnam.
Besides, there are also products serving agricultural and forestry production, machine tools serving agricultural production, fertilizers, plant varieties, etc.
The participating units providing goods to the people are carefully selected by the Organizing Committee. The enterprises must be reputable, have production and business capacity, trade promotion, and the participating goods must be of Vietnamese origin and be legally allowed to circulate in the market.

Participating enterprises must fully prepare means and goods to participate in sales and arrange and assign sales staff to serve the diverse needs of the people; organize the transportation of goods, prepare prices, shelves, loudspeakers, and propaganda banners of the unit.
"Goods sold at the Market are of Vietnamese origin, fully labeled according to the law and must have clear prices, combined with promotional activities to promote products, goods and services to encourage consumers to use Vietnamese goods...", Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy informed.
