According to Mr. Lam Truong Dinh - Director of Binh Dinh Province Historical Archives Center, through historical documents, Nuoc Man port (Tuy Phuoc district) is the place that marked an important milestone in the formation of the national language in the early 17th century (1618 - 1625).
Lang Song Printing House (Tuy Phuoc district) is one of the first three establishments to print Vietnamese script in Vietnam (along with Tan Dinh Printing House - Saigon and Ninh Phu Printing House - Hanoi).
Therefore, the land and people of Binh Dinh have made important contributions to the process of conception, formation, development and dissemination of the national language.

In particular, the exhibition highlighted the particularly important role of Quy Nhon provincial governor Tran Duc Hoa, who played a special role in creating the national language in the early 17th century.
It was Mr. Tran Duc Hoa who welcomed, sheltered, and protected missionaries Francesco Buzomi, Christoforo Borri... from Hoi An to the Nuoc Man base with many privileges, creating conditions for them to preach and form the national language.
Present at the Binh Dinh Province Historical Archives Center, Mrs. Tran Thi Truc (60 years old, living in Quy Nhon) emotionally said that she is a descendant of Mr. Tran Duc Hoa. She grew up hearing a lot about him, but this was the first time she read so much information about her ancestor.
Coming here, I am very moved and proud of my ancestor. From a young age, every time my family held a memorial service for him in Hoai Nhon, I attended. Today, coming to this exhibition, I feel very grateful for what our ancestors did and contributed so that today's descendants can inherit.
