Binh Dinh auctions 2,669 land lots to generate budget revenue

On February 23, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, signed a decision approving the plan to auction land use rights to generate budget revenue from land use fees in 2023 for land funds managed by the province.

In 2023, Binh Dinh will auction 2,669 land lots to generate budget revenue.

Accordingly, there will be 2,669 land lots subject to auction, including residential land and land for projects. Specifically, the land fund managed by the Binh Dinh Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the total number of land lots to be auctioned is 691 lots, expected to implement 172 lots with a total estimated price of 800 billion VND.

At the Land Clearance Board of Binh Dinh province, the total number of land lots put up for auction is 1,079 lots, with an expected implementation of 285 lots with a total estimated implementation price of 450 billion VND. At the Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone, the total number of land lots put up for auction is 899 lots, with an expected implementation price of 217 lots with a total estimated implementation price of nearly 594 billion VND.

In another development, the Department of Finance of Binh Dinh province said that the total local budget revenue in January 2023 was over VND 809 billion, reaching 5.9% of the annual estimate, down 52.8% over the same period. Of which, domestic revenue (excluding land use fees; lottery; dividends, shared profits and remaining profits) was over VND 623 billion, reaching 9% of the annual estimate, down 4.4%; land use fees were over VND 160 billion, reaching 2.9% of the annual estimate, down 82.6%; import-export revenue was only VND 14.3 billion, reaching 1.4% of the annual estimate, down 89.6% over the same period.

The decrease in total budget revenue in January was due to the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays. At the same time, some changes in income tax payment methods affected budget revenue. In addition, total revenue was also affected by land use fees.
