Nguyen Van Linh Street, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City

Nguyen Van Linh Street is about 18 km long, passing through District 7, District 8 and Binh Chanh District. The starting point connects with Huynh Tan Phat Street (District 7) and the end point intersects with National Highway 1 (Binh Chanh District), connecting with the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway.

This route is planned to have a road width of 60 - 120 m. For some completed sections, trees will be planted in the middle instead of a median strip. However, there are still areas that have not been expanded, between the lanes there is an empty land like a stagnant pond, overgrown with grass.

Transfer to police to verify 4 cases of environmental pollution

According to the report of Binh Chanh District Party Committee, the system of indicators on climate change response, resource management, and environmental protection has been mostly achieved. However, the target of ensuring implementation according to the forest area planning of 1,500 hectares has not been achieved, the locality will have to plant an additional 372 hectares of forest land in the near future. In addition, wastewater management is still difficult, households mainly discharge wastewater directly into canals or through septic tanks.

To date, more than 217,000 households across the district have pledged to respond to the campaign "Ho Chi Minh City residents do not litter on the streets and canals, for a clean city and to reduce flooding" of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
