Bich Tuyen is strong enough to go to sea

Yesterday (September 26), Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen continued to shine, helping LPBank Ninh Binh Club defeat its "rival" Hoa Chat Duc Giang to win a ticket to the semi-finals of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Tournament taking place in Thailand. The 1.88 m tall girl continued to be the number 1 scorer in the tournament with outstanding performance compared to opponents from strong volleyball backgrounds such as Japan, Thailand, and Kazakhstan. In just 3 group stage matches, Bich Tuyen scored 75 points. In yesterday's quarter-final match, Bich Tuyen was "taken care of" by her opponent but still scored 25 points.

Bich Tuyen is in very good form.

Previously, in the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, when Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was not in good form due to injury, Bich Tuyen showed that she was a perfect replacement. The hitter from Vinh Long was the top scorer not only in the Vietnamese team but also in most of the tournaments she participated in such as AVC Challenge Cup, VTV Cup...

Coach Azamat Esimov of Kuanysh Club (Kazakhstan) and Russell Borgeaud of the Australian team both praised Bich Tuyen's talent and said that she is capable of playing abroad. Tuyen herself is also being "watched" by a number of foreign clubs. If she follows Tran Thi Thanh Thuy to go abroad, Bich Tuyen will have a high income and develop her expertise. Recently, Tuyen also confided: "If there is a good opportunity, I will play abroad to prove myself and see what my ability is."

“Bich Tuyen has strengths in attacking ability, but also needs to improve in defense. If she competes in Korea, Japan or Thailand, where volleyball is diverse, the ability to organize defense well will support Bich Tuyen and help her improve further,” said Nguyen Tuan Kiet, head coach of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.

Mr. Le Tri Truong, General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV), said that the competition abroad of Thanh Thuy or possibly Bich Tuyen (previously, some Vietnamese players such as Lam Oanh, Kieu Trinh, Bich Thuy also competed abroad) shows that Vietnamese women's volleyball is increasingly receiving international attention. The impressive achievements of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in the past 2 years are proof of the development of Vietnamese volleyball. VFV always creates the best conditions in terms of policies and procedures for Vietnamese athletes to go "to the big sea", develop their careers, improve their expertise and this is also an effective method to help improve the quality of the Vietnamese team.

Today (September 27), Bich Tuyen and LPBank Ninh Binh Club competed in the semi-finals of the 2024 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Tournament, against Kuanysh Club (Kazakhstan).
