Vietnam's No. 1 setter Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen showed a special role for LPBank Ninh Binh Club at the 2024 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. Duc Giang Chemical Club likely to meet LPbank Ninh Binh in the quarter-finals of the Asian Club Championship

At 4 p.m., the remaining representative of Vietnamese volleyball at the tournament, Duc Giang Chemical Club, will face the host Nakhon Ratchasima in the final match of Group A. In the second match yesterday, the representative from Vietnam won against Kwai Tsing Club (Hong Kong) but only ranked 3rd in this group. Tran Tu Linh and her teammates must defeat Nakhon Ratchasima in the final match to take second place. If they finish the group stage in 3rd place, Duc Giang Chemical Team will likely face LPbank Ninh Binh Team in the quarterfinals, recreating the final match of last year's national volleyball championship.

The 2024 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship attracted 8 teams to compete. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team, called Sports Center 1, is the defending champion but will not participate in this year's tournament. Instead, Vietnamese volleyball will send 2 representatives to participate, LPBank Ninh Binh Club and Duc Giang Chemicals.
