Vinh Long Provincial Party Secretary Bui Van Nghiem appointed Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission

On the afternoon of January 18, Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work. Attending the conference were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Decision and flowers to the two comrades receiving new assignments.

Comrade Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, read the Politburo's decisions on personnel transfers and appointments.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided that comrade Bui Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Long province, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. At the same time, the Politburo transferred, assigned, and appointed comrade Bui Van Nghiem to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

The Politburo decided to transfer and appoint comrade Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Minister of Justice, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized that in the past time, comrade Bui Van Nghiem and comrade Tran Tien Dung have upheld the spirit of responsibility, built a clean and strong grassroots party organization, contributing to the overall development of the country.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee believes that, with their new tasks, comrade Bui Van Nghiem and comrade Tran Tien Dung will promote their strengths to build a team of united and creative cadres.

For comrade Tran Tien Dung, following the achievements of the Party Committee, Government and people of Vinh Long province, he needs to further promote the construction of Vinh Long into an economic and agricultural center of the Mekong Delta, especially taking care of the people's lives to become increasingly prosperous and happy.

New Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee Tran Tien Dung was born in 1975, hometown Nam Dinh province; professional qualification: Master of Law; high political level.

Comrade Tran Tien Dung has more than 20 years of working experience at the Ministry of Justice in many positions such as: specialist, secretary assisting the Ministry's leaders, secretary to the Minister; Deputy Chief of the Ministry's Office; Chief of the Ministry's Office and Chairman of the Ministry of Justice's Trade Union.

From January 2016 to February 2019, comrade Tran Tien Dung was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.

From February 2019 to May 2023, he held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau province.

In May 2023, comrade Tran Tien Dung was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.
