On the morning of July 30, comrade Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited, presented gifts, and encouraged cadres, engineers, workers, and laborers working at the construction site of the 500kV transmission line project, circuit 3, through Nong Cong district and Nghi Son town.

Accompanying the delegation were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mai Xuan Liem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments and agencies and Nong Cong district, Nghi Son town; leaders of the National Power Transmission Corporation; leaders of the Central Power Project Management Board.

According to the report of the Central Power Project Management Board, the 500kV line project, circuit 3, Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa section is 92km long; of which the section passing through Thanh Hoa province is about 74.6km long, including 166 column foundation positions in Nghi Son town and 5 districts: Nong Cong, Nhu Thanh, Thieu Hoa, Trieu Son, Dong Son and 82 anchorages. By July 29, the Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa 500kV line project had completed 200/200 foundation positions; 178 steel columns have been erected and 22 steel columns are being erected, striving to complete column erection by August 2, 2024 and to complete wire pulling on the Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa section by August 15, 2024.

Visiting the construction site in Thang Tho commune (Nong Cong) and Cac Son commune (Nghi Son town), Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung stated: The 500Kv line 3 project is a national key project, playing a particularly important role and position in ensuring the country's energy security, aiming to transmit electricity from the South to the Central and North regions, ensuring socio-economic development, people's lives, ensuring national defense and security.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Government and the Prime Minister have paid special attention to leading, directing and identifying this as a particularly important project that must be completed. Implementing the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, Thanh Hoa province has identified this as a key project, with 131 km of power lines with 299 pole positions in the area... passing through many terrains from plains to mountains. To implement the project, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have directed departments and branches to proactively coordinate closely with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the State Capital Management Committee, Vietnam Electricity Group, central ministries, departments and branches and mobilize the entire political system to participate, with the highest political determination.

Therefore, Thanh Hoa is one of the localities that has handed over the site to contractors for the construction of column foundations and anchorage the earliest. Along with doing a good job of site clearance, promoting the tradition of "a great rear for the front line", the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Hoa province have supported, shared and encouraged cadres and engineers working on the construction site with both material and spiritual means.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Hoa province, the Provincial Party Secretary respectfully thanked the people for complying with the Party's policies and the State's laws in carrying out site clearance for the project; highly appreciated the contractors, officers and engineers at the construction site who did not fear difficulties, overcame harsh weather and rugged terrain with the spirit of "overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain" in performing their duties; highly appreciated the Party Committees and authorities of the localities where the project passed through for taking drastic and synchronous action to implement the project in accordance with the Prime Minister's direction.

Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung emphasized: In the coming time, contractors, together with local Party committees and authorities, need to review the items to ensure the smooth operation of the project, striving to complete the Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa section by August 15, 2024.
