Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung stated: In order to restore and develop the socio-economy after the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has issued Resolution 11, including a group of tasks for investing in infrastructure construction, mainly focusing on transport works, irrigation, healthcare and vocational training schools... The implementation of projects under the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program will create jobs, ensure social security, and provide health care for the people.

Through inspection of the projects, it is shown that the Party Committee and the authorities of Thieu Hoa and Trieu Son districts have coordinated with the project management boards and contractors to focus on construction to ensure progress and synchronous infrastructure. The medical station projects are built according to common standards to ensure primary health care for the people; the district-level medical centers and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Thanh Hoa province are invested in modernly.

In order for the project works to operate effectively upon completion, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung requested the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Thieu Hoa and Trieu Son districts to direct local Party committees and authorities with invested projects to continue to pay attention to leadership and direction to put the medical stations into operation in a practical and effective manner. At the same time, along with paying attention to arranging staff for medical stations and district medical centers, Thanh Hoa CDC needs to pay attention to investing in equipment for units to meet the requirements of performing assigned tasks. The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the staff of the commune medical stations will maximize the function of the works to do a good job of taking care of people's health.
Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung chaired a working session with departments, branches and localities on the implementation of a number of projects under the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program.
The leaders of the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Civil and Industrial Works reported on the implementation and disbursement of public investment capital in 2024 for projects under the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program.
According to the reports of the Project Management Boards, implementing the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program, Thanh Hoa province has received attention from the Central Government for investment in projects: Thanh Hoa Industrial College; investment in construction and equipment procurement for 5 district-level medical centers, 70 commune-level medical stations and Thanh Hoa CDC with a total capital of 687 billion VND. For the project of embankment to prevent landslides on the left and right banks of Chu River in Van Ha bridge area, Thieu Hoa district and the left embankment of Len River, Ha Trung district, with a total length of more than 7.8km and a total investment of nearly 250 billion VND.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung emphasized: With the attention of the Central Government, Thanh Hoa is one of the provinces that has benefited the most from the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program, focusing on investment in irrigation works, the healthcare system (especially primary healthcare, preventive healthcare), and investing in vocational training to contribute to improving the quality of human resources.

Through inspection of project works, it shows that all levels, sectors, investors, project management agencies and localities and units have seriously implemented the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and organized construction to ensure the progress and quality of project works. However, through actual inspection, there are still some shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome, such as: The progress of site clearance for handover to investors and contractors in some localities and units is still slow; environmental sanitation work at some health stations is not green - clean - beautiful, the herbal medicine garden is still small and narrow, some equipment at the newly invested health stations is not installed properly.

The Provincial Party Secretary stated: These are projects using public investment capital, if the progress is accelerated, it will directly contribute to promoting socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Therefore, localities and units with projects being implemented are required to carry out site clearance well. Contractors must construct on schedule, ensuring the quality, technique and aesthetics of the project.
Regarding the recommendations of localities, units, and investors, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung assigned the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant departments and branches to focus on resolving them so that the implementation of projects under the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program is on schedule and complies with legal regulations.
The Provincial Party Secretary stated: Departments, branches and sectors need to uphold a sense of responsibility, high determination, great efforts, and drastic actions; carry out each task thoroughly, so that when the projects are completed and put into use, they will contribute to the good implementation of social security work, improving the lives of people in the localities where the projects are implemented.
