In his closing speech at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong stated that in the two days (March 25 and 26), the Conference of full-time National Assembly deputies took place in an extremely urgent, exciting, positive and responsible atmosphere. There were 61/73 opinions of National Assembly deputies on 10 draft laws to be considered at the upcoming Ninth Session, of which, there were 9 draft laws that deputies registered to speak, one draft law that deputies basically agreed with; 8/8 draft laws gave their first opinions at the Eighth Session and 2 draft laws were submitted for consideration and approval according to the procedure at a session. At the Conference, the drafting agencies also participated in explaining and reporting to clarify the contents raised by National Assembly deputies.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly stated that the National Assembly Standing Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the full and responsible participation of full-time National Assembly deputies and relevant agencies with careful preparation of content; the constructive, concise, and in-depth analysis of full-time National Assembly deputies.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly said that, as Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man informed at the opening day of the Conference, the upcoming Ninth Session is of great importance and historical significance for the development of the country. The volume of content is very large, according to preliminary statistics, there are 42 legislative tasks and about more than 20 tasks to decide important issues of the country. Among them, there is the task of amending a number of articles of the Constitution, while the preparation time is shorter.

To contribute to the successful organization of the Ninth Session, after the Conference, the National Assembly Standing Committee requested that the drafting agencies continue to closely coordinate with the National Assembly agencies to organize the reception, promptly complete the dossiers and documents and send them to the National Assembly deputies, ensuring that the National Assembly deputies have access to the documents and contents presented at the Session as soon as possible, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong requested.
In the context that the entire political system is in a very urgent situation, "running and lining up" to carry out tasks and arrange the apparatus, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that agencies closely follow the conclusions and resolutions of the 13th Central Conference, coordinate to urgently update and complete other contents to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments before submitting to the National Assembly, especially amending the Constitution, laws, and resolutions on apparatus organization.
Currently, the Government and agencies are continuing to prepare contents to submit to the National Assembly at the Ninth Session. Stating this, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong said that the National Assembly Standing Committee will continue to direct agencies to send documents as soon as possible; at the same time, he requested that National Assembly deputies proactively study the documents as soon as they have them to have thorough preparation. Along with that, information will be provided to voters and the People about the contents of the Ninth Session at voter contact conferences before and after the Session so that the People can share and support the contents of the National Assembly's consideration and decision.
