According to the flood warning on Cau Chay River of Thanh Hoa Province's Hydrometeorological Station, the water level of Cau Chay River at Xuan Vinh Hydrological Station is likely to reach Alarm Level I (+8.00m) at around 14-16:00 on September 19, 2024. The Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense issued an Alarm Level I on Cau Chay River in Xuan Vinh, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the districts to immediately deploy dike patrols and dike protection according to the alarm levels. Organize inspections, reviews and have a plan to ensure the safety of dike works; especially the weak dike sections and culverts under the dike in the area. Proactively deploy plans to evacuate people living in the riverbank area.
Organize a 24/7 duty, closely monitor the development of floods and rains to be ready to handle situations from the first hour; promptly inform and report to the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Civil Defense, Natural Disaster Response and Search and Rescue.
