The Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviewed the draft resolution.

On February 20, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a meeting to review a number of draft resolutions to be submitted at the 25th Session (special session) of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026. Attending the meeting were Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Head of the Provincial People's Council Legal Committee Pham Thi Hong Hanh chaired the review meeting.

The contents to be examined include: Draft resolution on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; draft resolution on adjusting the payroll of civil servants in state administrative agencies and organizations, the total number of people working on state budget salaries in public service units assigned in Resolution No. 239/NQ-HDND dated December 6, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council "On deciding on the payroll of civil servants in state administrative agencies and organizations; approving the total number of people working on state budget salaries in public service units; deciding on the number of commune-level cadres and civil servants; approving the supplementary payroll of public preschool and general education in Quang Ninh province in 2025".

Delegates commented on the draft resolution.

After listening to the content, delegates gave opinions and discussed to clarify a number of issues requiring ensuring legal basis, practical basis and process of drafting the resolution according to authority.

The Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council requests the Provincial People's Committee and relevant professional agencies to receive comments and contributions to complete the draft resolution, ensuring the requirements for submission at the 25th Session of the Provincial People's Council.
