Handing over "100 Dong House" to disadvantaged youth

On the morning of March 25, authorized by Military Region 5, the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command coordinated with the local Party Committee and authorities of Ba To district to inaugurate and hand over the "100 Dong House" to the family of Mr. Pham Van Voang, a reserve soldier and Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union in Dong Chua residential group, Ba To town (Ba To).

After nearly 3 months of construction, the 48m2 level 4 house for Mr. Pham Van Voang's family has been completed. The house includes a full bedroom, living room, kitchen and other ancillary works, with a total construction cost of 250 million VND.

Mr. Pham Van Voang's family received the Decision to support the construction of the "100 Dong House".

Mr. Pham Van Voang is a reserve soldier, from a family with difficult circumstances, with 2 young children, no job and no stable accommodation. In response to Mr. Voang's situation, Military Region 5 supported 80 million VND to build the "100 VND House" from the savings fund of cadres, union members and youth in the movement "Raising piggy banks for the love of the border and islands", the remaining amount was contributed by the family to complete the project.

During the house construction process, officers and soldiers of the Ba To District Military Command and local youth union members and militia participated in helping with the construction work.

The support from all levels of the industry, union members and youth at all levels helped Mr. Voang's family promptly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Leaders of Ba To District Military Command presented gifts to congratulate Pham Van Voang's family.

At the house handover ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Military Command, along with the local Party Committee and government, presented the Decision to donate the "100 Dong House" to Mr. Pham Van Voang's family along with many practical gifts to the family to prepare for moving into the new house.

This is one of the practical activities of the officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces in a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Ba To Uprising; the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day and to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
