30 more commune-level police agencies in Hanoi issue and exchange driving licenses

Accordingly, from March 28, 30 commune-level police units in Hanoi will begin receiving applications for issuing and exchanging driver's licenses.

Thus, up to now, in Hanoi city, there are 32 points receiving applications for issuing and exchanging driving licenses.

Of which, 2 facilities receiving documents belong to the Road Motor Vehicle Driving License Examination and Issuance Team (Hanoi Traffic Police Department) at No. 2 Phung Hung Street, Van Quan Ward, Ha Dong District and No. 253 Nguyen Duc Thuan Street, Trau Quy Town, Gia Lam District, operating since March 1.

In addition to the 32 points for receiving applications for issuing and exchanging driving licenses, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department has deployed a location for online instructions on issuing and exchanging driving licenses at the Hanoi City Public Administration Service Center Branch - Branch No. 1, 258 Vo Chi Cong, Tay Ho District.

According to statistics, from March 1 to March 26, Hanoi City Police received 19,373 applications for issuing and exchanging driving licenses, of which 9,241 were directly issued and 10,132 were through public services. On average, the unit received 880 cases per day.

The Hanoi City Police Department’s implementation of issuing and exchanging driver’s licenses at 30 commune-level police stations will help people make the process more convenient. In addition, the authorities also recommend that people should carry out the above procedures online.
