Handing over heritage trees to Hung Temple Historical Site

On March 28, the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) coordinated with Vietstar Training Company Limited and relevant agencies to organize the program "Phu Tho - Green Aspiration".

Within the framework of the event series 'For the National Green Environment', the program aims to spread the message "Think green - Live green and Act green", together creating a balance in preserving and protecting natural resources, living environment, human civilization and biodiversity of the Earth.

Dr. Tran Van Mieu, Vice President of VACNE, said that the program was organized on the occasion of the Hung Kings' death anniversary, with the desire to raise awareness and mobilize the community to participate in environmental protection, biodiversity conservation and climate change response.

"The 'For the national green environment' program aims to build a network of community connections and spread inspiration for people from all walks of life to participate in green innovation activities, develop a circular economy and build a green lifestyle for a sustainable green Vietnam," Mr. Mieu shared.

This is also the second time VACNE's initiative has been held in the Homeland, with the same name "Phu Tho - Green Aspiration".

National Green Ambassador Duong Duc Hai expressed his honor to receive the assignment this year, and pledged: "As an ambassador, I will contribute my efforts to spreading green values ​​to domestic and international friends, inspiring the audience about a young generation full of compassion and constantly striving for a green environment."

Held since 2012, in provinces and cities across the country, "For the National Green Environment" organizes many activities connected with nature, developing the habit of "small things, big meanings" in each person's life so that daily activities are more suitable for a green lifestyle, instead of depleting and causing damage to the environment and ecosystem.

In addition, spread the message of joining hands for green transformation, green production, protecting ecosystems, adapting to climate change, creating harmonious and sustainable development.

The program also encourages businesses to improve their compliance with policies and laws on environmental protection in production, business and service activities; pioneer in implementing green innovation in developing green economy, green growth, circular economy, sharing economy and building green lifestyle.

MC Ngan Ha, Representative of Vietar Training Company Limited, added that this year's art program in Phu Tho has many innovations and creativity, gathering hundreds of young people from all over the country.

Each art performance is a reminder of responsibility to the nation, country and the "green lungs" of the Earth, while expressing gratitude to the roots, the desire to contribute and join hands to act for a green country with sustainable development.

In addition to the program "Phu Tho - Green Aspiration", at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site on the occasion of the Hung King's death anniversary, there are many activities such as: Opening of the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land 2025 with the theme "Echoes of the Origin"; Specialized exhibition introducing documents and artifacts from the Hung King period; Exhibition of artifacts, documentary heritage, books, newspapers, photo materials... about the heritage of Hung King worship...

In particular, the organizing committee planted and handed over trees (in the Vietnam Heritage Tree Road) to the Management Board of the Hung Temple Historical Site. Planting heritage trees on Phu Bung Hill is an initiative of VACNE, aiming to spread the spirit of loving trees and actively participating in tree planting in the community.
