According to a primary school teacher in District 1 who has many years of observing the 6th grade exam questions at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, from 2022 onwards, the math knowledge section was almost all motion problems. But the 2023 exam questions had geometry content. This teacher once said that this was a good point of the exam questions. Specifically, the problem required students to draw shapes, helping them demonstrate their drawing skills and geometric thinking methods from primary school. This is a weakness that most secondary school students are facing. The exam questions with this content help create a foundation for learning at the next levels.
