On January 11, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vu Thi Trang - the number 1 female badminton player in Vietnam from 2010 to 2017 officially debuted as the brand ambassador of Kamito, introducing her fashion collection named VTT - GoWo "Trang's Time". These designs bring a unique mark to Vu Thi Trang's career.

Previously, badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh - Vu Thi Trang's husband also became a brand ambassador for the same brand. He was present at the program to support his wife.

To introduce her own fashion collection, Vu Thi Trang appeared on stage as a model to introduce her own sportswear for athletes.

As a fashion brand ambassador, Vu Thi Trang appeared confused when having to perform fashion in front of many guests and the media.

As a fashion brand ambassador, Vu Thi Trang appeared confused when having to perform fashion in front of many guests and the media.

Sharing with VTC News, Vu Thi Trang said she felt a bit shy when having to perform fashion shows.

I am used to fighting, running and jumping, but I find it very difficult to perform a fashion show. When I learned that the program required me to perform to introduce my own collection, I felt very confused, not knowing how to walk and pose on stage because I had never done this before. Everyone encouraged me a lot, telling me to walk as comfortably as possible. I just tried to pose and walk in the most comfortable way possible,” said Vu Thi Trang.

The athlete said that it might feel a bit difficult at first, but she tried because this was her event so she should try her best.

When she had her own fashion brand, Vu Thi Trang said she was very happy, very glad because very few people in Vietnamese sports have this kind of luck. The tennis player born in 1992 chose the main pastel color "pink - blue" with the inspiration of the pattern stylized from the lucky 4-leaf clover to put into the collection.

In an athlete's life, in addition to the moments of winning or losing in competition, emotional training, personal events and marks are truly milestones in life that make her feel proud to be respected. As an ambassador, Vu Thi Trang will be "taken care of" comprehensively from competition outfits (rackets, dresses, clothes, shoes, bags, backpacks, socks, strings...) bearing her VTT brand. The tennis player believes that after more than 22 years of hard training and competition, this is a worthy achievement for her efforts.

Vu Thi Trang said her goal this year is to try to save up and practice to participate in more international competitions despite her declining performance.

Sharing more about her new role, Vu Thi Trang said: “ I am a person who rarely interacts, only knows how to practice and compete. When I became a brand ambassador for the brand, I no longer compete and practice as much as I did during my peak. So now I still compete to satisfy my passion.

At the same time, I work with the brand to create many values, such as charity to give scholarships to help people in difficult circumstances. Help those who have passion but do not have enough money to practice and compete professionally.

She also shared that when she was still an athlete, her biggest difficulty was when she got injured. The second difficulty was that the budget for Vietnamese athletes to compete abroad was still very limited. So when she had achieved a certain success, she wanted to be able to better support athletes to have more competition funding and to cover their living expenses.

Regarding her goal for 2024, Vu Thi Trang said that this year she will try to save up and compete in more international tournaments despite her somewhat declining performance. The most important thing is the task of bringing the Vietnamese brand she represents to the international arena.

" This year I also hope to have the opportunity to spread positive things to sports players so that everyone will practice sports more ," "wife" Nguyen Tien Minh shared.

In addition, she also continues to participate in sports training, opening more training classes for athletes to compete internationally. The desire of the couple Tien Minh-Vu Thi Trang is still to inspire and directly contribute to training more talents for Vietnamese sports in general and badminton in particular.
