Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong provinces are both welcoming a "golden rain" to cool off after months of intense heat.

Early morning of May 4, Vung Tau City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) welcomed the first rain. Although the amount of rain was small and the duration of rain was short, this was a "golden rain" that helped reduce the heat in Vung Tau over the past months.

Some roads in the center of Vung Tau City are still flooded after a short rain this morning.

By the morning of the same day, many roads were still covered in rainwater, and trees on Big Mountain and Small Mountain were also bathed in water after a long period of drought. Thanks to the rain, the temperature at 7am in Vung Tau was only about 29 degrees Celsius.

However, Vung Tau residents are still looking forward to a bigger rain, enough to cool down after a long period of hot weather.

The rain was not heavy but it somewhat reduced the heat in Vung Tau.

According to the weather forecast, in early May, the weather trend in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province is generally no rain and the heat continues to increase in the north of the province such as Phu My town, Chau Duc district, and the north of Xuyen Moc district.

According to the Binh Duong Province Hydrometeorological Station, from May 4, when the subtropical high pressure system gradually withdraws to the East, the hot weather in Binh Duong will tend to ease. The highest temperature in the next few days is forecast to fluctuate between 35-37 degrees Celsius. At the same time, there will be intermittent seasonal rains.
