Selling pressure increased at the end of the session, VN-Index reversed and decreased

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased slightly compared to the previous session, reaching more than 13,845.93 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold more than 154 billion VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, MWG shares were bought the most (71 billion VND), followed by YEG (60 billion), EIB (27 billion VND)... On the contrary, FUEVFVND was sold the most (47 billion VND), followed by MSB (35 billion VND), VHM (34 billion VND)...

In this session, stocks: VPB, HPG, CTG, MSN had a negative impact, reducing the VN-Index by more than 1.7 points. On the contrary, stocks: STB, EIB, HDB, VCB in the banking group had a positive impact, helping the VN-Index increase by more than 1.3 points.

Today's session, the VN30 group closed with 12 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged, and 13 stocks decreasing.

Of which, STB increased by 2.75% to VND35,550/share, HDB increased by 1.5%, VJC increased by 1.14%.

Codes: GAS, PLX, SAB, SHB, TCB, VCB, VHM, VIB, VIC increased slightly.

Five codes stopped at reference: BCM, BID, BVH, FPT, VRE.

On the other hand, VPB decreased 1.67% to VND20,550/share, HPG decreased 1.1%.

In terms of industry groups, banking stocks traded more actively, closing in green. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, the remaining codes: EIB increased by 3.46%, LPB increased by 0.78%, MSB decreased by 1.14%, OCB stopped at reference, NAB increased by 1.26%.

In the steel group, only SMC increased to the ceiling price of 6,580 VND/share, HMC and POM stopped at the reference price, the rest all decreased. Specifically, HPG decreased by 1.1%, HSG decreased by 0.96%, NKG decreased by 1.42%, TLH decreased by 0.55%.

The group of securities stocks was almost completely covered in red but mostly decreased slightly. * The Vietnamese stock market index reversed to decrease at the end of the session today, VNXALL-Index closed down 1.58 points (-0.07%), to 2,127.25 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 659.17 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 15,636.86 billion. In the whole market, there were 138 stocks increasing in price, 96 stocks remaining unchanged and 221 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 229.21 points, down 0.91 points (-0.40%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 34.79 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND661.77 billion. The entire floor had 57 stocks increasing, 71 stocks remaining unchanged and 83 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 2.61 points (-0.52%) to 498.32 points. Trading volume reached about 19.40 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND487.70 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 9 stocks increasing, 7 stocks remaining unchanged and 14 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index stopped at the reference level of 92.70 points. Liquidity reached over 683.25 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND15,327.58 billion. The entire floor had 157 stocks increasing, 72 stocks remaining unchanged and 211 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 0.20 points (-0.01%) to 1,362.69 points. Liquidity reached more than 302.48 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND8,498.50 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 12 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 13 stocks decreasing.
