DNO - From October 24 to 25, the Department of Science and Technology organized a conference on "Applying codes, barcodes and traceability in supply chain management of the agricultural, forestry and fishery sector" for more than 70 delegates from organizations, enterprises, cooperatives and business households in the agricultural, forestry and fishery sector.

Activities aim to improve and foster knowledge; help units access and grasp legal requirements, apply codes, barcodes and traceability in supply chain management; contribute to ensuring publicity and transparency of information on traceability of products and goods on the market, enhancing business value.
At the conference, the units were introduced to an overview of digital transformation of the supply chain in the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector and how to apply it in supply chain management; opportunities, difficulties, and solutions for enterprises in the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector when applying digital transformation; implementing registration and applying barcodes in supply chain management of the agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors; applying traceability in supply chain management of the agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors.
Thereby, helping businesses and cooperatives master knowledge, innovate business methods, and increase investment in technology to improve product quality; closely connecting members in the supply chain, creating a cooperative and developing working environment.
