Adele is temporarily deaf

Adele has been left temporarily deaf in one ear after suffering from a painful infection for the past two months.

According to OK Magazine, singer Hello experienced pain “worse than childbirth” after contracting a disease that affected her hearing. She said she contracted a rare bacteria during a 10-day stay in Munich, Germany, in August.

"The condition is very serious, not easy to treat. I have never had it like this before. This bacteria caused me the most pain I have ever had," Adele shared.

Adele initially used antibiotics, but later discovered that she had taken the wrong medication, causing unbearable ear pain. After going to the hospital for a check-up, the singer was prescribed new medication to help speed up the treatment process.

"The English Nightingale" added: "I wanted to cut off my ear a few times and luckily it doesn't hurt anymore. But actually my left ear is temporarily deaf."
