82% of admitted candidates have confirmed their enrollment

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, 551,497 candidates confirmed their admission on the system, reaching 81.87% of the number of successful candidates.

Thus, in 2024, the number of candidates registering for university admission is 733,652; the number of admitted candidates is 673,586; the number of candidates confirming enrollment is 551,497, reaching 81.87%.

These figures are all higher than the 2023 admission season. Last year, the country had 494,488 candidates enrolled, reaching 80.34%.

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, from August 19 to 5:00 p.m. on August 27, admitted candidates who want to study at the school they have been admitted to must complete the online admission confirmation process on the Ministry's General Admission System.

After confirming online admission, candidates will be guided by training institutions on the next steps to complete official admission procedures.

According to regulations, candidates who have confirmed their admission will not participate in the additional admission rounds of the schools, unless the head of the training institution allows them not to enroll.

Additional admission rounds take place from August 28 to December. Candidates can follow additional admission information of training institutions on the school's website regarding quotas, additional benchmark scores and related information.
