According to Mr. Hoang, China is the second largest international tourist market of Khanh Hoa, after South Korea. In the first 10 months of 2024, there were nearly 500 flights from China to Cam Ranh airport. It is expected that this year, the province will welcome 750,000 Chinese visitors.

In 2019, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 2.5 million Chinese visitors, accounting for more than 70% of international visitors to the province. During this period, China was the largest market for Khanh Hoa tourism.

Mr. Wei Huaxiang - Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh City, shared that after the Covid-19 pandemic, China and Khanh Hoa province have coordinated to accelerate the recovery of tourism activities between the two markets, such as organizing a conference to connect tourism cooperation between Shanghai and Chengdu (China). Commercial flights and charter flights between Khanh Hoa and Chinese provinces and cities are also increasing.

"The Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism fever is once again strongly covering the international tourism market of China," said Mr. Wei Huaxiang, and pledged that "the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will continue to promote its role as a bridge, actively supporting the substantive cooperation relationship between China and Khanh Hoa province to reach new heights."

According to the Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, 2025 is the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, so Khanh Hoa province hopes that Chinese enterprises will continue to pay attention to promoting business cooperation, economic development, including tourism development between the two sides in the coming time.

"Khanh Hoa provincial government always accompanies and creates favorable conditions for Chinese enterprises to cooperate and do business in the province, aiming to bring practical benefits to both enterprises and people," affirmed Mr. Le Huu Hoang.

According to Mr. Pham Thanh Binh, Khanh Hoa is a land rich in historical traditions, with a long natural coastline, poetic white sand beaches and many famous scenic spots; a developed, interconnected and conveniently connected infrastructure network, with a system of roads, waterways, railways, airways and seaports. Khanh Hoa is also one of 20 localities on the North-South high-speed railway line of Vietnam that has just been approved for investment.

In addition, Khanh Hoa has a very dynamically developing economy, developing synchronously in many fields; gradually becoming an international center for sea tourism and services. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to play the role of a bridge, paving the way, supporting the connection between Vietnamese localities and international partners, including Khanh Hoa and Chinese investors," Deputy Minister Pham Thanh Binh emphasized.

On the same morning, more than 200 enterprises from Khanh Hoa province and China were connected, learned about the need for trade cooperation and promoted cooperation in the tourism sector and other sectors with strong development opportunities./.

It is estimated that in 2024, Khanh Hoa province will welcome 10.6 million overnight visitors, including 4.5 million international visitors. Tourism revenue in 2024 is expected to reach more than VND52,270 billion.
