Recently, Hanoi City Police warned about the appearance of drugs in the form of functional foods for skin beauty and cancer treatment.

Responding to the recent warning from Hanoi City Police about the appearance of some drugs on the market under the guise of functional foods, the Food Safety Department has reviewed records of receiving functional food products.

Accordingly, two functional food products with the brands: "Lazarus Naturals Full Spectrum CBD TINCTURE" and "Lazarus Naturals RELIEF + RECOVERY CBD MUSCLE GEL" introduced with "skin beautifying and cancer-curing effects" were warned to contain the synthetic drug Delta-9-tetrahydrocanabinol (THC).

A series of functional foods are warned to contain synthetic drugs.

Through searching data at the Food Safety Department, up to now, no organization or individual has received the dossier of the above products from the Food Safety Department. The Food Safety Department recommends that consumers who have information about the above 2 products should immediately provide it to the authorities for handling in accordance with the provisions of law.

People should be careful with the above-mentioned beauty supplements.
