According to information from the organizing committee, more than 18,000 athletes, including nearly 1,300 international runners from 55 countries, are ready to participate in the race on November 3. The number of athletes participating in this year's race increased by 150% compared to last season and is a record number recorded in marathons in Vietnam. The 4 distances of the race include: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km.
Runners will start from Thien Quang Lake, running through the districts of Hai Ba Trung, Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, Dong Da, Tay Ho. The 42km route will pass through 5 famous lakes of Hanoi: Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, Truc Bach Lake, Ngoc Khanh Lake and Thien Quang Lake. Athletes will also pass through historical sites such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square...

When tens of thousands of athletes stride through the ancient streets, historical and cultural relics, and typical scenic spots of the capital, they not only experience the unique beauty of an autumn night in Hanoi, but also see the harmony of a city that is both ancient and modern .
A medical task force has been established under the direct leadership of Mr. Vu Van Giap - Deputy Director of Bach Mai Hospital. This team includes doctors specializing in emergency resuscitation, cardiology, trauma, nursing and more than 100 students from Bach Mai Medical College.
Bach Mai Hospital experts will be responsible for planning, organizing, and providing first aid on-site, as well as making timely decisions on hospital transfers, with the motto that athlete safety is the top priority.
10 fully equipped ambulances are arranged along the race routes along with more than 1,000 medical staff and officers present on the track, helping the Organizing Committee always have enough resources on-site to handle emergency situations quickly and effectively.
