On the morning of November 26, the funeral of Lieutenant General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Khuat Duy Tien was solemnly held at the National Funeral House, Hanoi.

The visitation will take place from 7am to 10am, the memorial service and funeral will take place from 10am to 10:30am on the same day. Lieutenant General Khuat Duy Tien's coffin will be buried at the Dai Dong Commune People's Cemetery, Thach That District, Hanoi.

In his life and career, he was considered a battle-hardened general, who held a gun in the resistance wars against France and the US, as well as in the wars to protect the Fatherland on the border.

During his career, Lieutenant General Khuat Duy Tien held many different positions in the Vietnam People's Army. He was the former Principal of Army Officer School 1, former Director of the Military Department of the General Staff, and former Commander of the 3rd Corps.
