The Vietnam Sports Delegation (VSD) competed in 9 events on October 4, but the highlight was the women's sepak takraw final in the 4-a-side event. Coach Tran Thi Vui and her team took on a huge responsibility in helping the VSD fulfill its target at the 19th Asian Games (2 to 5 gold medals).

The Vietnamese women's sepak takraw team, including Tran Thi Ngoc Yen, Nguyen Thi Yen, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen, Nguyen Thi My (with two reserve players Tran Thi Hong Nhung and Le Thi Tu Trinh), will compete in the final against Indonesia. Previously, the Vietnamese women's sepak takraw team also defeated Indonesia, successfully defending their world championship title.

Set 1, the Vietnamese women's sepak takraw team did not start well. The girls in yellow shirts had 5 missed serves, a weak block, many mistakes and psychological problems.
