Recently, in the province, there has been a situation where some businesses and individuals operating in the field of construction of works and projects have transported construction waste and garbage at works and projects and dumped them in violation of regulations, causing negative impacts on the environment and urban landscape.

To put an end to illegal dumping, the Provincial People's Committee requires districts, towns and cities to proactively plan and strengthen appropriate measures to prevent, promptly detect and handle cases of illegal transportation and dumping of construction solid waste and household waste.

In case of violations that cannot be identified by the organization or individual, the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities are responsible for organizing the remediation of consequences, ensuring environmental sanitation and urban aesthetics.

Garbage and debris are dumped at a location along Ea Tam stream.

For investors of technical infrastructure construction investment projects in the province, they are responsible for organizing the management of land funds belonging to projects they are investors in (including projects under investment and projects that have been completed but have not yet implemented auction procedures, have not yet handed over for management, exploitation and use) in accordance with regulations; have appropriate measures to prevent, promptly detect and handle according to procedures and regulations for cases of dumping construction solid waste on land belonging to projects they are investors in.

In case of violations that cannot be identified, the project investor must organize to remedy the consequences, ensure environmental sanitation and urban aesthetics.

The Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Police and local authorities to strengthen inspection, examination, and strictly handle organizations and individuals who dump domestic solid waste and construction waste in locations other than those prescribed.
